What I stand behind, and what I do not
I stand behind dimensional conformance to the drawing we agree, the material we specify, and the workmanship.
I do not certify anything. Parts are not supplied for safety-critical, load-bearing structural, pressure-containing, medical, aerospace, firearm, or life-support applications, and not for food contact. You are responsible for validating that a part is fit for your application and environment.
Additive manufacturing has inherent process variation: visible layer lines, support-contact marks, seam lines, and minor shrinkage are normal and are not defects.
Applications I do not supply parts for
- Life-safety systems, medical implants, and anything in patient contact
- Aerospace, aviation and spaceflight components
- Firearms, firearm components and ammunition
- Load-bearing structural members and pressure vessels
- Fluid containment for flammable or hazardous media
- Food-contact applications and children's products subject to CPSIA
- Anything where a failure could reasonably cause injury, death or significant property damage
Your design, your rights
Where you supply the design, you are responsible for it: its dimensions, tolerances, fit, function and suitability. You confirm you have the right to have it made, and you cover any third-party claim arising from your materials.
Liability
Everything is supplied as is. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. Total liability for any order will not exceed what you paid for that order.
Privacy
The form collects what is needed to quote your work and nothing else. Files you send are treated as confidential and are never published. No street address is collected, and nothing is sold or shared.
